During
the development and deployment stages of the network, North
American InfoTech will enter into contracts with companies
for the sale, lease or indefeasible right of use (IRU) grant
for dark fiber or conduit along segments of the North American
InfoTech network. North American InfoTech will also offer
dark fiber and conduit for sale, lease or the grant of an
IRU on those route segments where there is capacity in excess
of North American InfoTech's internal needs.
These
dark fiber and conduit services are ideally suited to provide
our customers with network footprint expansion, backbone network
upgrade, primary connectivity, diverse routing capabilities
and back-up services during periods of network duress and/or
emergencies.
