North
American InfoTech LLC, a North American DataCom subsidiary,
is in the process of deploying a 3,000 plus mile fiber optic
backbone network in the Southeastern US. Using the latest
in fiber, optical transmission and broadband wireless distribution
technologies, this high-speed broadband network will enable
and drive the convergence of voice, video, data, multi-media
and e-commerce communications into the second and third tier
markets in the Southeast.
As
an integral part of this network deployment, North American
InfoTech will provide network infrastructure services to National
and Regional interexchange carriers, local exchange carriers,
competitive local exchange carriers, Internet service providers,
cable service providers and utility companies. These services
will provide our customers with network footprint expansion,
backbone network upgrade, primary connectivity, diverse routing
capabilities and back-up services during periods of network
duress and/or emergencies.
