American DataCom Subsidiary Announces Appointment of Gordon
Evans

Miss.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 1, 2000--Bryan D. Forman, President
and Chief Operating Officer of North American InfoTech, LLC,
a subsidiary of North American DataCom, Inc. (OTCBB:NADA -
news) today announced the appointment of Gordon Evans as NAIT's
Vice President of Operations, in charge of logistics, strategic
planning, and manpower allocations for the construction of
the North American Fiber Optic Network.
Mr. Evans came to NAIT from MCI Worldcom Telecommunications
Corporation, where he worked in the Network Management Center
in Performance Analysis, and as Floor Manager. Mr. Evans'
background experience before that was with Transwave Communications
Corporation (as Assistant Vice President of Field Operations),
Western Union Telegraph Corporation (in Microwave Systems),
and U.S. Air Force Intelligence.

NAIT as an industry leader.'' North American DataCom (NADA)
through its NAIT subsidiary is deploying a broadband fiber
optic and wireless distribution network within the southeastern
United States. When completed, the NAIT network will consist
of more than 3,000 route miles of fiber optic facilities,
and will be able to support the data storage and retrieval,
multimedia and e-Commerce communications applications associated
with the emerging Broadband Economy. NAIT plans to offer a
host of network based services including point-to-point broadband
services, managed wavelength services and high-speed ADSL
(asymmetric digital subscriber line) and SDSL (symmetric digital
subscriber line) Internet Access Services throughout the southeastern
United States.
