American DataCom Announces Fiber Optic Conduit Agreement

Miss.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 22, 2000--Robert R. Crawford,
president of North American DataCom, Inc. (OTCBB:NADA - news),
today announced DataCom's finalization of an agreement to
purchase more than one thousand miles of fiber optic conduit
along a corridor connecting Atlanta, Georgia; Chattanooga,
Tennessee; and Memphis, Tennessee. The agreement provides
a framework for additional network segments throughout the
southeastern United States. This agreement, along with DataCom's
previous purchase of 500 miles of conduit secured earlier
in the year between Jacksonville, Florida and New Orleans,
Louisiana, finalizes several critical routes for the Company's
fiber optic infrastructure.

DataCom will provide Enterprise Data Storage Services, Bandwidth,
and Professional Services for high-speed Storage Area Networks
and point-to-point Critical Data Storage. Services will exploit
DataCom's network infrastructure for data availability, data
protection, scalability, and performance for the medical,
financial, government, and corporate arenas.
North American DataCom is an information technology company
with a core emphasis in Fiber Optic and Wireless Technologies,
Critical and Remote Enterprise Storage Services, Internet
Access, Network Support and Information Technology Services.
This vertical market structure is central to DataCom's overall
business plan. DataCom plans to offer high-speed data access

North American DataCom, through its North American InfoTech,

services, managed wavelength services and secure Enterprise
Data Storage throughout the southeastern United States.
