North
American DataCom Changes Trading Symbol
Business Editors/Technology Writers IUKA, Miss.--(BUSINESS
WIRE)--April 7, 2000--Effective at the start of trading today
North American DataCom (OTC BB: NADAE) formerly Pierce International,
changed its Over-The-Counter Bulletin Board Symbol ("OTC BB")
to "NADA" from "PRCI". The Company's common stock is now being
traded using the symbol "NADAE". North American DataCom is
an information technology company with a strong emphasis in
Wireless and Fiber Optic Technology, Internet Service, Network
Support Services, Remote Critical Data Storage and Information
Technology Training. North American DataCom owns Freedom 2000,
the local Internet Service Provider connecting the tri-state
region of Mississippi, Alabama and Tennessee, and Action Communications.
On March 16, 2000, the National Association of Securities
Dealers, Inc. ("NASD(R)") appended to the PRCI symbol an "E"
designation, due to the company's outstanding SEC form 10Q
quarterly financial filing. The filing delay was largely the
result of additional filing requirements occasioned by the
recent merger of North American DataCom with Pierce International.
North American DataCom expects to comply with the filing requirements
necessary to have the "E" designation removed within the next
week.
North American DataCom's principal offices are located at
751 County Road 989, Building 1000, Iuka, MS 38852. For further
information, contact Investor Relations by telephone at (662)
424-5030, and by e-mail at investorrelations@nadata.com.
