International Names Jerry Buuck to Head Sales for Its Newly
Formed Subsidiary North American InfoTech, LLC
IUKA, Miss.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 7, 2000--Pierce International,
Inc.(OTC BB: PRCI) announced today that it had formed a new
subsidiary company, North American InfoTech, LLC, (NAIT) to
build and develop a fiber optic and wireless network throughout
the South. The new company will focus on providing a broad
line of telephonic and internet services to the communities
and industries located along its proposed fiber optic and
wireless communications route.
Pierce is an information technology company with a strong
emphasis in Wireless and Fiber Optic Technology, Internet
Service, Network Support Services, and Remote Critical Data
Storage. The Company is expanding and upgrading its Mississippi
facility to accommodate increased bandwidth requirements of
the marketplace through developing fiber optics and wireless
technology.
Brian Forman, the newly appointed President and Chief Operating
Officer of NAIT announced the appointment of Jerry Buuck as
Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Mr. Buuck joins the
executive staff of NAIT and PRCI and will head the marketing
of broad band and wireless. He has 20 years of Telecommunication
market experience in both broadband and wireless technologies.
Jerry comes to Pierce from Qwest International, where he spent
5 years directing business and product development. Prior
to Qwest, Jerry had broad telecommunication experience with
Sprint and General Telephone of Indiana. Mr. Buuck emphasized,
``We plan to capitalize on the highly experienced staff we
are putting together. The management will have the technical
and business skills to implement our business strategies to
cost effectively service the telecommunications and e-commerce
B2B and B2C market in the South.''
